In January, we wrote a blog post talking about the important business partners we work with on a regular basis. Those businesses we talked about are not the only ones we work with! In our BNI chapter in Smithfield, we also have more businesses that we meet with every week to keep each other accountable, pass referrals, and help each other succeed in business. Bob and his partner Julie have a law firm in Smithfield that specializes in real estate closings in Hampton Roads. Bob is someone that every person should meet with, and we feel confident sending our clients who are buying a house to Bob for peace of mind, knowing that the transaction will be as smooth as possible. Having a law firm do your title work is helpful because they can handle everything. But being able to completely trust them to do the right thing is invaluable when we are sending our clients their way.

Have you ever worked with someone who pays such close attention to detail that they put more care into your project than you ever expected? Amber is that type of photographer! She specializes in real estate photography – mostly for sellers but also for investors who rent out their properties.

4. United Turf, LLC – Katey Baggett

Locally owned and operated United Turf is a diamond in the rough. The owner, Hal, and his daughter Katey are a great duo as they continue to build this company. Hal has been in the sod industry for over 45 years and Katey left her job at Smithfield foods to work for the family business full-time.
If you have a lawn that you’re just not happy with, we highly recommend talking to Hal. He’s good people, and that’s why we feel so comfortable referring people to United Turf!
