Every person is only as strong, competent, and resilient as the people they surround themselves with. A business is no different. That’s why at Walls Insurance Agency, we are a part of an important business networking group called BNI, or Business Network International. While BNI focuses on bringing in new business through referral marketing, the benefits of BNI extend far past that.

 

This important business networking group not only paves the way for auto insurance providers such as ourselves by providing referral marketing services, but it also gives us in-depth insights into auto insurance trends through collaboration with dynamic industry leaders from Smithfield and beyond. Our fellow members in BNI have helped us perfect our auto insurance services so we can continue to provide the best auto coverage to our valued clients at the lowest possible prices. Joining BNI has been instrumental in Walls Insurance Agency’s success, allowing us to build relationships with auto insurers throughout the country who can offer our customers the best rates on their auto coverage requirements.

 

This isn’t a promotional commercial for BNI (although we do really like it!), but what we do want to talk about is the businesses in our group that help make us strong. They help keep us accountable, inspire us, give us feedback, and sharpen our skills (as well as bring us business through the power of referral marketing).

We work with many different realtors, and Tracy is as good as they come in knowing the market, knowing his clients, and helping his clients find what they need. We feel comfortable knowing that Tracy is knowledgeable, has very high character, and is a very hard worker. When we write an insurance policy for someone moving into a new house, we know that insurance is a detail that they want to quickly take care of and then not have to worry about. Insurance is important, but it’s not something that should take up a lot of the homeowners time and energy. That’s our job. 

 

We love Kris! Kris has been working in the mortgage industry for over 20 years. She is professional and hardworking for her clients. Kris passes a lot of business our way and it’s great to have someone so knowledgeable on the mortgage side of things who we can go to for advice or suggestions about our clients. Kris’ clients speak very highly of her and it’s really important for us to be able to recommend her to our clients if they need a lender for their new home.

 

 

Larry works for us and is in our BNI group! It’s so great having a veteran like Larry work in our office writing life insurance policies for clients. Larry knows the ins and outs of the life insurance business, what products will benefit people, how to get the most benefits from your investment, and how to have that peace of mind.

 

Another thing Larry is great at is looking at the whole picture. He doesn’t just want to sell someone a product, he wants to know what they’re dealing with so that he can REALLY help them. Even things that are only loosely related to life insurance.

 

 

The trades are a vital part of BNI group, and even though we are not a trade ourselves, we love our group members who are contractors or who provide a service to their customers. Dan the Man Junk Removal is a growing business that serves clients in the Hampton Roads region and beyond (if there is enough junk to remove). He helps with move-outs, hoarders, or just taking away a piano, fridge, bed, etc. Dan is a great guy with a big family and he knows how to work hard and treat his clients honestly and fairly.

 

 

Anyone who has met Sindi Rowell (or Cindy – ask her about how she spells her name if you want a good story) will remember her. Sindi loves to meet everybody and treat everyone like family. She is the owner/operator of Alpha Pest Solutions, LLC providing pest and moisture control to Hampton Roads. Sindi always says that to see her business is to see her family, and she means it. Her daughter-in-law, Victoria, is in charge of the pest control division, her sons help run the business, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are often on her lips. Sindi is just a great person to be connected with because as she will tell you, she knows EVERYBODY. 

 

 

Eric Schuster is the owner and manager of Fresh Look Web Design, a web design and digital advertising agency located in Smithfield Virginia. Eric moved to Smithfield from Newport News recently and has begun networking on this side of the James River. He has been running his web design company for over 13 years and has a lot of experience helping small businesses and non-profits compete in the online space, attracting new customers and building their brands.
